The Package Includes

• Accommodation in the general ward for 12 hours.
• OR Room Charge & Nursing Services: OR Room Use & Circulating Nurses
• Medical Equipment: Excimer Laser Source System, Keratome
• Medical Supplies and Medications necessary for the procedure
• Doctor Fee (Including three (3) months follow-up visit)
• Post Operation Visits: Necessary follow-up outpatient visits with the physician for a period of three months after surgery; excluding take home medical supplies and medication.

Package Excludes

• Other charges not related to the procedures;
• Charges for pre-op full eye examination and OPD charges occurred prior to the surgery;
• Pre-operative studies such as laboratory tests, radiology studies etc.;
• Other eye drop or eye ointment not specified in the package;
• Take home medications and supplies;
• Charges for the inpatient stays.

Patient Eligibility

Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not qualify for the package:
• Uncontrolled bleeding
• Uncontrolled Glaucoma
• Patients with underlying diseases such as uncontrolled Diabetes, Hypertension, Renal/Vital organ Failure, HIV infection, under immuno-suppressive treatment.

• Outpatient fees and expenses incurred before admission;
• Other charges not related to the procedure;
• Other charges for radiology studies, laboratory profiles, pathology studies and medications not related to the procedure;
• Additional supplies such as Surgiport (disposable, new), additional Trocar (>4 pieces in total), Polysorb, and Argon Beam Coagulator (ABC);
• Items of a personal nature such as in-room soft drinks, telephone charges and guest meals will be charged at the normal rates in effect;
•  Take home medications and supplies;

Patient Eligibility
The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients and is subjected to doctor final decision. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not qualify for the package:

Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV, organ failure, uncontrolled diabetes,  Bleeding Disorders, known case cancer of the reproductive system

Add-On Charges 
Room upgrades are charged at the difference of the room rates.
If the patient’s condition requires additional Trocar (> 4 pieces), a new disposable Surgiport, Polysorb, and Argon Beam Coagulator (ABC), an additional fee will be charged at the normal rates in effect.

• Outpatient-visits for consultations, and the tests and exams required for pre-operation clearance by consultants.
• Charges for in-patient stay in excess of 4 nights. Additional charges for these days including room and other charges will be added to the package price at a normal hospital rates.
• Medications and treatment for pre-existing or non-procedure related conditions.
• Charges for other procedures not included in the package.
• Other charges for radiology, laboratory profiles, pathology studies and medications not related to the procedure.
• Additional supplies such as walking aide not in the package, high chair and other additional items.
• Items of personal nature such as phone calls, room services, guest meals, in-room soft drinks etc.
• Take home medications and supplies.
• Follow-up visits.

• Patient with underlying severe medical problems which may affect the surgical process and require additional treatment.
• Bleeding disorders, HIV infection or other complications.

• Room upgrades are charged at the difference of the room rates.
• If the patient’s condition requires additional supplies: a walking aide not item listed in the package, blood transfusion and blood cross match; an additional fee will be charged at the normal hospital rates in effect.
